About the project

About the project

Conceived for a young couple with two young children - who dreamed of turning this house into their final home - Villa EP reflects their desire for a cozy refuge, for family life and for celebrating moments of rest and leisure. A home designed not just for everyday life, but for encounters, silences and memories. Set on a steep slope and surrounded by preserved forest, Villa EP was born out of the search for a home that harmonizes architecture and nature in a sensitive and functional way. The project is organized in three interconnected floors, adapting to the natural relief to enhance both the functionality of the spaces and the connection with the landscape. The main access is via the intermediate level, where the social and service areas are located. Right at the entrance, a double-height ceiling frames the treetops in the background, creating an immediate connection with the greenery and broadening the spatial perception. On the lower level, the basement houses the leisure areas, the swimming pool and a guest suite, ensuring privacy and autonomy for visitors, as well as a second service core that complements the dynamics of the house. The second floor is reserved for the intimate area, where the master suite has been positioned at the back of the plot, facing the native forest, providing residents with daily moments of contemplation and serenity. The architecture responds to the terrain with precise technical solutions, but preserves lightness and sensitivity in the dialog with the landscape.
