About the project

About the project

Located in Syria, Villa AA was conceived as a residence that establishes a continuous relationship between architecture, landscape, and materiality. The project is organized into four independent volumes: the main house, gourmet area, guest area, and service area. These are arranged to create a balance between integration and privacy. The constant presence of landscaping connects these volumes, while the family living room opens onto the outdoor areas, fulfilling the clients' desire to maintain a permanent connection with the garden. The organization of the spaces prioritizes everyday living and the preservation of privacy. All bedrooms face the internal façade of the residence, overlooking the gardens and without openings toward the street, creating quieter and more secluded spaces. The guest suite features an independent entrance, ensuring autonomy for visitors without interfering with the dynamics of the main house. The materiality reinforces the architectural language through the use of travertine, timber finishes, and movable slatted panels, which regulate light, privacy, and transparency throughout the day. Together with the surrounding vegetation, these elements create a welcoming atmosphere where the integration between interior and exterior occurs naturally, allowing the architecture to become an extension of the landscape.
