Nestled in the dramatic terrain of Taif, Mountain Villa emerges as a refined architectural response to its mountainous surroundings. Designed to embrace the sweeping views of the landscape, the residence harmoniously blends bold forms with a light, elegant presence. The façade explores the contrast between black and white materials, featuring a refined mix of marble, natural stone, and textured surfaces. Chamfered volumes introduce a sense of movement and grace, particularly accentuated at the main entrance — a sculptural invitation into the house. The steep slope of the site played a key role in the spatial organization. The garage, positioned at the lowest point on the left, provides discreet access to the basement level. This floor is entirely devoted to leisure and hospitality, with guest suites, a fully equipped entertainment area including a game room, bowling alley, home theater, and gym — all oriented to the panoramic mountain views. On the ground floor, the social spaces unfold: a cozy majlis, living and dining rooms arranged to fully capture the rear-facing vistas. The outdoor leisure area includes a sports court and swimming pool, thoughtfully divided to ensure privacy for residents and guests alike. The upper level houses the private quarters. Each bedroom features its own balcony, allowing nature to filter in and become part of the daily experience. A standout feature is the communal family balcony — a shared space for quiet moments together, suspended above the landscape, immersed in the raw beauty of the surrounding mountains.
