Villa AM

Villa AM was designed for a young couple of doctors with two small children. The residence proposes a harmonious coexistence between intimacy, functionality, and aesthetic expression.
The project’s layout makes intelligent use of the site, creating two distinct accesses: the main entrance leading to the residence, and an independent one that connects to the annex designed for the wife's mother. This annex — complete with a kitchen, living room, and suite — offers both privacy and warmth, balancing autonomy with familial closeness. The façade of Villa AM stands as a central element of the project: defined by solid and void compositions, clean volumes, and a deliberate contrast of tones and materials, it expresses a contemporary language with industrial undertones. The exposed metal structure serves both structural and aesthetic functions, reinforcing the residence’s visual identity. Internally, the program unfolds across two levels. Almost the entire residential program — including service areas, leisure spaces, and bedrooms — is located on the ground floor. On the upper level, a music studio was designed for the resident, who finds in music a sensorial refuge. A gourmet area with a fireplace and wine cellar sets the stage for intimate gatherings with close friends.
