About the project

Located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia,Abu Lessh Palaceis a 14,000 m² residential compoundconceived around the presence of water as the defining element of the architecturalexperience. From the dramatic indoor waterfalls cascading through the building to thereflecting pools and swimming pools distributed across the property, water shapes thespatial narrative, expressing movement, abundance, and contemplation. The development comprises the main palace and four private villas, carefully arranged toprovide privacy while maintaining a strong sense of connection throughout the entirecomplex. The buildings are linked through a shared underground level that accommodates theproject's leisure and entertainment facilities, including an indoor swimming pool, a privatecafé, a custom burger restaurant featuring the client's own brand, a cinema, a game room,a mosque, a squash court, and additional recreational spaces. The main residence alsoincludes a master suite with a private swimming pool, a helipad, and a climate-controlled multi-sports court, expanding the residential program and creating a wide variety oflifestyle experiences within the compound. The architectural language embraces a contemporary aesthetic defined by generousspaces, refined materials, and the continuous presence of water as a unifying element. Acascading waterfall extending from the uppermost level to the underground floor becomesthe project's defining architectural gesture, accompanying the circulation throughout thepalace and reinforcing Abu Lessh Palace as a residence where architecture, landscape, and sensory experience are seamlessly brought together
